Candles

What can I do to make sure I'm taking care of my candles?

Trim the Wick: Before lighting a candle, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch. This helps prevent excessive smoking and ensures a clean, even burn.

Create a Full Wax Pool: For the first burn, let the candle burn until the wax pool reaches the edge of the container. This establishes a "memory" for subsequent burns and helps avoid tunneling.

Keep the Wax Pool Clean: Remove debris, such as matches or wick trimmings, from the wax pool to avoid flaring and uneven burning.

Discontinue Use at 1/2 Inch Wax Depth: Stop burning a candle when there is approximately 1/2 inch of wax remaining. Burning a candle beyond this point can lead to overheating of the container.

Reuse: Once the wax is gone, clean the vessel thoroughly and repurpose it!

Are your candles safe?

Our candles are sustainable, ecologically-sound, and pesticide-free. We don't do animal testing, and our products are free from phthalates, parabens and sulfate. Our wicks are made from 100% unbleached cotton.

What size are the candles?

Our candles are poured in vessels that are 3.125 in tall and 3.125 in wide. Each glass is filled with 7 oz of wax, which equates to about 50 hours of burn time. The vessels themselves are 9.5 oz.
